Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 1.59%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were MD Pictures Tbk PT (JK:FILM), which rose 0.24% or 10.00 points to trade at 4,210.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID) added 283.33% or 425.00 points to end at 575.00 and Triputra Agro Persada Tbk PT (JK:TAPG) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 560.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI), which fell 99.37% or 5,366.00 points to trade at 34.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 99.20% or 124.00 points to end at 1.00 and Polychem Indonesia Tbk (JK:ADMG) was down 97.55% or 4,146.00 points to 104.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 348 to 266 and 211 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (JK:DOID) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 283.33% or 425.00 to 575.00. Shares in Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) fell to all time lows; losing 99.20% or 124.00 to 1.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.78% or 0.64 to $82.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.68% or 0.58 to hit $85.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 3.70 to trade at $2,340.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.14% to 16,359.40, while AUD/IDR fell 0.30% to 10,857.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 105.71.
