It's like asking why eggs are expensive when pork is cheap.

Ro Ai. OJ is still roughly twice more expensive than its decadal upper channel line :). Thus, if OJ is your basis for comparison :) then you should wait until KC will reach 600 and then expect it to drop hard :):):). Besides, if in relation to Brazil, 2025 crop is your focus and you believe that weather issues affected the plants, this fact implies that a good weather from now on will support beans on the branches but will not add more beans to those branches. No matter what rains are gonna be :):):).

If you believe that it is all conspiracy to the highest extent :), then it is absolutely not understandable why you're not happy ? Because by that logic, it is once in a life time opportunity to short :):):).

The weather forecast is starting to become very problematic rather than supportive.

True. And Inmet is always ready to provide data for closest municipality :). It would be kinda logical :) for the heat anomalies to reach max intact with the peak of solar cycle 25 which was expected in July 2025 (summer 2025). After what we should start seeing global cooling really started :).

Orange juice is dropping haaaaard. Probably the weather in Brazil only targets oranges and leave out coffee plants.

Another tutorial about settle price is needed? No wonder even and 90% of retail traders lose when I see this complete lack of knowledge of market fundamentals.

Cocoa technical day chart is interesting to observe. I am not sure how similar KC move will be, but it will be crazy to see a much higher price. I'd like to call it a top, but who knows? I believe the short supply issue is well priced in. it is a soft commodity after all. Given the mixed information and the claims of small grower dominant supply chain, any analysis based on fundamental or technical could become silly. I could be completely wrong.

Short term top before a correction. Long term top could be at 450

Think about it this way, when the price has risen beyond what was the average expectation and producers sold in to the rise. If demand is still there, where is the remaining stock?

A little guide for beginners of which so many have come to this forum: - you are trading the March contract, which is about to expire - in simple terms, its expiration date is otherwise known as FND, it is February 20 - your broker will roll your short position a few days earlier, perhaps even as early as next Monday - the next May contract is currently $9 cheaper, so your short position will also be $9 cheaper after you roll it, but no, it won't be your earnings
