Ig only 57% short on market thing most traders on there are not bothering with Dax anymore it definitely the least I have seen in a long time considering we are above 23k

Premiums today on daily options are cheapest i have seen since probably Feb. That can be a sign that things have calmed down a bit and no urgency in covering longs at these levels, well not today anyway, tomorrow can be different, but maybe we are on for tripple top or 24k, see what prices options are tomorrow, but i had noticed the prices of option premiums started reducing late last week, one good thing trading options everyday is you can guage how volatile the markets are and get a feel of things

The falling 3 peaks on 15 min chart didnt play out which im kindoff glad as i only long the market and had some longs so thought today could have ended up being a losjng day for me, but i use options which gives me an edge on the market everyday. Newfarm said there was no pattern, but if you google falling three peaks trading pattern, yesterdays 15 min chart did look like that a bit, ive never really tried that pattern before so i didnt know if it would 100% playout or not. One thing i noticed, the premiums on options have become alot cheaper again, something i dislike as i earn from the premium rather than pay the premium. Premiums tend to be more expensive in markets that are more volatile so that could be saying something

not every pattern play out. If they would traders would just use crayons. new market is moved by options and momentum rather than imaginary dragons, butterflies, flags and head and shoulders. anyway I used them and always look :) TA works because peoplebbrains love patters

Thanks newfarm and kirkor cpt, the bearflag on the sp500 has broke the top trendline, my thinking is that although this has happened, another leg down to lower lows still cant be ruled out as it can still be considered just a relief rally after such a huge drop, you do get a good bounce that can take a week to several weeks to play out after big drops like this.

The sp500 bearflag trendline did break yesterday as i think you mentioned newfarm, my top trendline had moved on the chart for some reason and only i only noticed it was in the wrong place today.

One issue sometimes with patterns just like the sp500 bearflag and triangles is when they break, its sometimes not actually a proper break, the pattern may just be extending the pattern area to make it bigger. Using the daily chart i have just adjusted my top line of the sp500 bearflag channel and it now fits in 3 daily tops for the top line so the bearflag is still in play, just the top line of the channel has been adjust and moved higher up now, but is still valid
