Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.87%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280), which rose 3.83% or 2.62 points to trade at 71.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 3.69% or 0.74 points to end at 20.80 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 1.82% or 0.60 points to 33.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201), which fell 9.72% or 7.00 points to trade at 65.00 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) declined 5.83% or 1.42 points to end at 22.95 and Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) was down 4.84% or 0.71 points to 13.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 145 to 21.
Shares in Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) fell to 3-years lows; falling 4.84% or 0.71 to 13.95.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 4.07% or 1.83 to $43.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.23% or 1.65 to hit $49.37 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.40% or 4.40 to trade at $1108.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.39% to 4.1487, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.10% at 97.13.
