The investment seeks total return. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus borrowings for investment purposes, in investment-grade debt securities (generally referred to as "bonds"), and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such securities. The fund invests in securities that are rated investment-grade at the time of purchase.

Biography Antulio is a P.M. specializing in interest rate and yield curve strategy and also heads the group’s macroeconomic research effort. He is also a member of the Portfolio Strategy team. Prior to joining OFI Institutional, he was a Senior Economist specializing in monetary policy and financial market analysis in the Division of Monetary Affairs of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. Antulio’s book, Understanding Credit Derivatives, was published in 2004.

Biography Geoff is a Portfolio Manager specializing in mortgage-backed securities and structured products. He is also a member of the Portfolio Strategy team. Prior to joining OFI Institutional in 2003, he was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at ABN Amro North America, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s domestic mortgage-related portfolio. Before that, Geoff was a Portfolio Manager at Zurich Scudder Investments. He also worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he traded collateralized mortgage obligations and at Kemper Financial Services, where he conducted research and analysis in the commercial real estate area. Biography Benjamin Gord, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Alternative Fixed Income, joined Pioneer in 2013. Mr. Gord was previously Head of Quantitative Research and Co-Head of Interest Rate Strategies at OFI Institutional Asset Management from 2002 until 2009. Mr. Gord has served as a portfolio manager of the fund since its inception and has been an investment professional since 1989.
