Investment Strategy

Nordea Europeisk Kredittobligasjon invest in bonds issued by private issuers in Europe and USA which are rated corresponded to ”investment grade” (minimum Baa/BBB) at the point of investment. i.e. issuer with low to moderate credit risk. The funds modified duration will be in the interval from 3 to 7 years. The objective of the management of the fund is to obtain highest feasible relative return compare to the bench mark MSCI European Corporate Credit Index.

Biography	Jan joined Nordea in 2009. Previously he worked as chief portfolio manager on credit portfolios with Danske Capital for 9 years. He started his career in Danske Bank as a credit analyst on international oriented major corporate customers in the Credit Department, Syndicated Loans and Corporate Banking. In between Danske Capital and Danske Bank he had a position as Vice President with Nykredit arranging and participating in acquisition finance, participation in syndicated loans and managing a portfolio of corporate bonds. Jan was one of two starting up the business in Nykredit Bank.

Biography	Mette Oehlenschlager started her investment career in 1987. She has been with Nordea Investment Management since 1989, and has managed a broad range of fixed income products, including Danish mortgage bonds, Global Governments and Credit bonds. Today, she is a Credit Specialist on the European Corporate Team. Mette holds an MSc in Finance from the Copenhagen Business School.

Biography	Martin Nybye Sørensen began his career in 1995 with a Danish mutual fund company, where he primarily worked with Danish mortgage-backed securities. In 1998, he came to Nordea Investment Management to manage Euro Fixed Income products as a Credit Specialist. Martin covers financial issuers in the bond market and is responsible for the overall credit strategy. Martin holds an MSc. in Business and Finance from the University of Aarhus.
