Investment Strategy

The investment seeks total return through its asset allocation, which is designed to become more conservative over time; as the fund approaches and passes the target retirement date, the fund's objective will shift to seeking current income and some capital appreciation. The fund is a “fund of funds” that seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in a combination of U.S. domestic and international mutual funds (“underlying funds”) using an asset allocation strategy designed for investors who plan to retire around the year 2030 (the target retirement year) and then withdraw their investment in the fund over time throughout retirement.
