Biography Nicolas Janvier is Head of US Equities, EMEA, at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He took up this role in October 2020 and leads the London-based team which manages a significant US equities franchise for clients. Mr Janvier has been with the company for 14 years, working as a US equities portfolio manager in both our US and London offices. He is currently lead manager for the Threadneedle American strategy and Threadneedle American Smaller Companies strategy, as well as ESG portfolios managed by the London team. He is also co-portfolio manager of the Columbia Large Cap Growth Opportunity strategy. Mr Janvier joined the company in 2006, spending eight years in our New York office as a portfolio manager in the Value Strategies team focusing on US mid and small cap companies. Prior to this, Mr Janvier was a portfolio manager with the Private Bank at Bank of America. Mr Janvier holds a BSc in Telecommunications-Operations from the University of Florida. Biography Ms. Sobin is a Managing Director and member of Tradition’s Investment Committee. As a portfolio manager, she leads the Environmental, Social, Governance and Female Focus strategies for the firm. Ms. Sobin has over three decades of investment management experience including seventeen years with Columbia Threadneedle Investments (a division of Ameriprise Financial) in both New York and London, where she was Senior Portfolio Manager, Executive Director and head of U.S. Equities. She was recognized as one of the top 100 Women in Finance in Europe in 2014 by European Financial News. Ms. Sobin has lead managed core equity, mid and small cap equities and dividend growth funds at Columbia Threadneedle, Zurich Scudder, JP Morgan (formerly Chase Manhattan) and Oppenheimer Funds. She holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of New York. Ms. Sobin graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.

Biography Cormac is head of the US team and has managed the Artemis US Equity, US Select and US Smaller Companies Funds since launch. He studied accounting and finance at Dublin City University, graduating in 1987 and joining KPMG. After moving to Provident Mutual where he was a US equity analyst, Cormac spent two years as a fund manager for the British Gas Pension Fund. He joined Threadneedle in 1997, later becoming head of the North America team and the lead manager of three of its US funds. He moved to Artemis in 2014.

Biography Robert Graham-Brown was promoted to fund manager in August 2003. Currently he has responsibility of co-head of the global technology sector and insurance within the US market as well as managing the American Smaller Companies Growth Fund. Robert joined Threadneedle and the US equity team in 2001. Robert graduated in June 2000 with a M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from Bristol University.

Biography Zanny Perring manages both Large Cap and Small Cap North American equity portfolios. She began her career in 1989 as a graduate trainee at Kleinwort Benson, after which she moved to Kleinwort Benson Investment Management to manage Far East and North American equities. From 1994 to 1997 she worked for WorldInvest where she had sole responsibility for North American equities. Zanny graduated in 1989 with a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Bristol University.
