Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide investors with as high a level of income exempt from federal income taxes and from personal income taxes, if any, for resident shareholders of New Jersey as is consistent with prudent investment management and the preservation of shareholders' capital. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in securities whose interest is free from federal income taxes, including the federal alternative minimum tax. It also may invest up to 35% of its total assets in municipal securities issued by U.S. territories.

He received a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a M.S. in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Tom also received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Harrington also opened the municipal-bond department at Shearson Hammill in 1953. Harrington is a member of the Commercial Club of San Francisco, and the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bond Clubs.

Johnson has originated three television talk shows, hosted a radio talk show and was a co-founder of Intellectual Digest magazine.
