Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to track the performance of the Calvert US Large-Cap Core Responsible Index, which measures the investment return of large-capitalization stocks. The fund normally invests at least 95% of its net assets, including borrowings for investment purposes, in securities contained in the index. The index is composed of the common stocks of large companies that operate their businesses in a manner consistent with the Calvert Principles for Responsible Investment.

She joined Calvert Research and Management in 2016. Jade began her career in the investment management industry in 2005. Previously, she was an investment analyst at Microvest, an asset management firm specializing in impact investing, and led the certification department at Fair Trade USA. Biography Mr. Stout joined Calvert in June 2002 with 16 years of experience as an Engineer. As a project manager and engineer, Mr. Stout has had considerable experience with ENSCO, Inc. in developing and managing contracts in "investment engineering" a combination of modeling, pricing structures and analysis. He was a member of senior management at ENSCO, prior to returning to graduate school and making a career transition into finance. While at George Washington, he received a scholarship grant, graduated at the top of his class and received an Academic Excellence Award. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Washington, DC.
Lise Bernhard - 2015 2016
Biography Lise Bernhard is a member of the team managing Calvert’s responsible index funds. In this position, Ms. Bernhard supports the lead portfolio manager relating to all aspects of Calvert’s in-house passive equity strategies. She is also the manager of Calvert’s responsible indexes, and a senior performance analyst in the Investment Systems and Performance department. Ms. Bernhard's duties as index manager include monitoring the index provider for compliance with index rules, and providing oversight and support to the Calvert Index Committee. As a senior performance analyst, her responsibilities include GIPS compliance and reporting. Prior to joining Calvert in 2005, Ms. Bernhard worked as a group manager of performance reporting for Cambridge Associates, as well as for the Arlington Community Foundation, running a pooled investment fund for their donor advised accounts. She graduated with a B.A. in English literature from Drew University and holds an M.B.A. in finance from The George Washington University.

Biography Ms. Webster is currently the Director of Securities Operations and in this capacity has responsibility for all middle office functions including performance, reconciliation, trading and compliance systems, accounting and GIPS. Prior to this role, Ms. Webster was V.P. of Mutual Fund Management at E*TRADE Global Asset Management where she was responsible for all mutual fund management from 2000-2005. Ms. Webster was also a portfolio manager at Calvert Investments from 1996-1999. She graduated from University of Colorado with a B.S. in Business Administration. Biography Mr. Moore joined Calvert in 2004 as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. In addition to his duties in that role, he assumed responsibility for special projects in several areas of Calvert including Compliance, Social Research and Equities. In February 2007, Mr. Moore joined the Equities department full time. Mr. Moore is a Level II candidate in the CFA Program and holds a NASD Series 7 license.

Biography Natalie Trunow is senior vice president and chief investment officer, equities, for Calvert Investment Management, Inc. Ms. Trunow is responsible for managing, proactively evaluating, and monitoring Calvert's sub-advised equity, balanced, sector, and asset allocation Funds. She also leads the firm’s in-house equity management, ESG integration, GTAA strategies, and new product development and implementation. Ms. Trunow has worked in global financial markets since 1985. Prior to joining Calvert Investment Management, Inc. in 2008, she was a section head and a portfolio manager in the global markets group at General Motors Asset Management in New York. In this role since 1997, she developed and managed successful in-house investment strategies in global alternatives, domestic large- and small-cap as well as alpha-generating, style-balanced funds of funds of institutional money managers. Earlier in her career, Ms. Trunow consulted with Price Waterhouse and the law firm of Owen & Davis in New York. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in economics from NYU and holds an M.B.A. in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. Throughout her carrier, Ms. Trunow has been involved in various volunteering and community activities including New York School Volunteer Program, Junior Achievement, and Calvert Community Partners. She serves on the advisory boards of Institutional Investor Forum, Claflin University, and Health Services for Children with Special Needs Foundation Investment Committee.
