[1/2] UPDATE ON THE BEARISH RUT WEDGE: Over the past few weeks the RUT have formed a Rising Wedge Triangle pattern on the daily chart. This pattern, formed over such a duration, appears to be extremely rare for the Russell 2000. I could only find a handful of prior examples over the past couple of decades. April 2000 and August 2007 are prime examples but neither are as clean as the current formation. But I did some further investigation and came across an important discovery. Back in the summer of 2002 the RUT formed a very clean Rising Wedge Triangle. It came right in between two large drawdown segments, a clear continuation pattern.
