Hi Jeff :) TTT is now busy shorting bitcoin he doesn’t have time to reflect on previous successful predictions. Thank you for the tip on this, I left at .70 C and did not try to average down further, still took a hit on this one . Good thing it was not big .

... LOL... I see him. He's been shorting BTC since $30k. No way he's solvent enough that any broker would allow him margin. He's a flashing red light of compliance issues.

CYA $0.38 -14.58% at Friday Close! Penny above Weekly S2. $bpspx +1.20 at 70.40% (percent of S&P500 components with a point and figure buy signal associated with its chart). Incredible demand after late October's 24% measure, bull alert then 32% and bulls confirmed at 40%.

Their 3rd largest position is about to go poof on the 15th. See TechTrend Trader longing and averaging down from late October.

Tom is a really good guy and great analogies. Supply and demand is so common sense and after years of investing and trading global markets, learning WHY options and futures even exist (hedging), I came to the conclusion that Charles Dow was probably on to something. Really study the various bull and bear patterns as well as the bull and bear vertical counts.

Dorsey/Write has a point and figure pay sight, which many institutions use. Sector bell curve is AWESOME and shows us how money can rotate. Best tip I can give you is look at point and figure charts of your BEST and WORST trades/investments. Eliminate the worst, or admit the mistake, take the loss, while repeating the winners.

stockcharts.com has a free version. $BPSPX is the S&P500 bullish %. While this move higher in the SPX is fresh in your mind, grasp Tom's 30% to 70% football field and who had the RISK in late October at 24%, then 40%, now 63%.

My best guess would be TechTrend Trader. Perma bear and if you think this has been bad just since $5, his SPX puts, ES shorts and RUT put trades haven't been any better. His math isn't good either and if he managed money for a living, the SEC would make Madoff look like an angel.

Maybe next week will be “catch the break “ week … This SP500 rally surprised lots of analysts with its length and intensity, supposedly it has been years since such 10 day streak had happened last … Nothing lasts forever so …Not sure how and if CYA will benefit from that ….

... still just 46.40% of SPX components showing a point and figure buy signal. Still lots of room for bulls to have much risk. As soon as she broke the pivot, hedges really unwound. Make hay while the sun rises and stockpile bull profits. When the internals start softening up and pivot levels start serving resistance, we'll kick the perma bulls in the teeth.

Bob ... look at the last 9 daily bars. Each close, below the open. What's the MINIMUM test for some type of technical test of any rally. Not that (unch) is a rally after a 9 day drubbing.

Wow a rally at last, after 8 red days and drop from $5.XX t0 $.73 … It was worth waiting, just don’t know how to allocate my profits, might need a help of a financial advisor, lol … Joking aside and all the blame on me and my gambling episode I am really curious what moves this garbage … Today S&P 500 VIX was up 5.81%, S&P 500 down .81%, yet here we are with .36% gain … I saw this jump quite a bit in October so something was moving it.. If you know what it is please share, greatly appreciated….

It's broken Bob. From the looks of it, the bear market in bonds negatively impacted their largest etf and they had to stop dividend payments as those funds were to generate the needed cash for buying SPX puts and VIX 20.00 calls. The recent Oct expiration of both, that finished out the money (worthless) was the straw that broke the camels back. What's left is some SPX Dec 29 4200 puts and a small VIX Dec 20th 20.00 Call position.

... Yep. And from $6.00 to $0.77, the question is 84.88% of what? Will they just see what happens come Dec 29 and either call it quits, or give it one last try below $4200? I know, based on observation in this chat, averaging dow from $5 has not solved the problem.
