More than CAD appreciating, USD weakened due to lower bond yields. CAD is very weak compared to other currencies like Euro and the pound that took off. Stocks are also falling so global investors are pulling out. Germany just announced stimulus so investors are flocking to Europe. However, this may be short lived, as with all government stimulus. I doubt Germany’s economy recovers anytime soon. Retail is buying CAD, so I prefer buying USD with this pair. Maybe will try next week when thr dust settled.

Yes, this is the best one for USD. DX also hit a major daily support so UCAD should continue up at least for a little while.

Yes, this is the better pair for USD. DX just hit a major support, so UCAD should go up a bit more.
