Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 5.71% or 269.00 points to trade at 4,976.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 4.98% or 2,130.00 points to end at 44,880.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.16% or 450.00 points to 14,710.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:ENLT), which fell 3.19% or 204.00 points to trade at 6,186.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 3.13% or 59.00 points to end at 1,825.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was down 2.93% or 43.00 points to 1,426.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 324 to 135 and 80 ended unchanged.
Shares in Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) rose to all time highs; rising 4.98% or 2,130.00 to 44,880.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.93% or 0.74 to $80.46 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.85% or 0.72 to hit $84.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 9.75 to trade at $2,338.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.22% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.26% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 104.92.
