Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.98% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 9.97% or 3,120.00 points to trade at 34,410.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS) added 4.79% or 570.00 points to end at 12,470.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 4.66% or 600.00 points to 13,470.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which fell 1.21% or 910.00 points to trade at 74,080.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 1.21% or 25.00 points to end at 2,036.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) was down 1.07% or 64.00 points to 5,920.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 249 to 211 and 77 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.49% or 0.39 to $79.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.38% or 0.32 to hit $83.90 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 17.05 to trade at $2,339.35 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.48% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS rose 0.77% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 105.19.
