Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV), which rose 7.17% or 76.50 points to trade at 1,143.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 6.24% or 755.00 points to end at 12,860.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 5.92% or 700.00 points to 12,520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 4.00% or 42.00 points to trade at 1,009.00 at the close. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 0.93% or 1.80 points to end at 192.30 and NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) was down 0.90% or 5.50 points to 604.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 60 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.48% or 1.21 to $82.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.36% or 1.16 to hit $86.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 2.50 to trade at $2,337.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.06% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 105.64.
