Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to meet the managed payment policy of the fund, while seeking to preserve the investors' capital over the long term; the secondary investment objective is to seek the potential for long-term capital appreciation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by combining a managed payment policy with a strategic allocation to a diversified portfolio of other funds invested in: global equity; debt, which may include floating rate loans and emerging markets debt; and real estate securities and real estate investment trusts. The underlying funds may or may not be affiliated with the investment adviser.

Biography Barbara Reinhard CFA, Portfolio Manager, joined Voya in 2016. Ms. Reinhard is the head of asset allocation for Multi-Asset Strategies and Solutions (“MASS”) at Voya Investment Management. In this role, she is responsible for strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions for the MASS team’s multi-asset strategies. Prior to joining Voya, Ms. Reinhard was the chief investment officer for Credit Suisse Private Bank in the Americas from 2011 to 2016. In that role, she managed discretionary multi-asset portfolios, was a member of the global asset allocation committee, and the pension investment committee. Prior to that, Ms. Reinhard spent 20 years of her career at Morgan Stanley.

Biography Jody Hrazanek leads structured investments strategies for the Nuveen Solutions Team including volatility management, option overlay and related portfolios, and is a manager on closed-end funds using those strategies. She is a key contributor to the Team’s asset allocation views, portfolio construction, trading and implementation efforts. Jody joined Nuveen in May 2018 from Voya Investment Management where she was head of Strategy Design and Implementation. In this role, she was portfolio manager for a number of multi-asset strategies including target date, portable alpha and option overlay strategies. Prior to Voya, Jody worked at Advent Capital Management as a convertible bond trader for both long-only and hedge fund portfolios. He also served on UBS’ multi-asset portfolio management team, where he helped build UBS’ retail multi-asset business across funds and separately managed accounts. Derek started his career at Ibbotson Associates, the asset allocation research and services firm acquired by Morningstar. Derek holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining ING IM, Mr. Arvanitis worked at ING USFS Wealth Management since February 2003, where he headed up the Structured Derivatives Strategies & Innovations department and was responsible for developing and managing sophisticated capital markets hedging and trading programs for performance guarantees offered in insurance products worldwide. Mr. Arvanitis holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analysts (“CAIA”) designation.
