Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to provide a high level of current income that is exempt from federal income taxation and to preserve capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in investment grade municipal securities whose interest is free from federal income tax, including the federal alternative minimum tax. It will maintain a weighted-average portfolio maturity of five years or less. Although the advisor intends to invest the majority of its assets in tax free securities, the fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in securities that pay taxable interest.
