The portfolio aims to achieve capital growth and income generation by investing in long term fixed interest securities. The STANLIB Bond Fund will be a bond portfolio. In selecting the securities normally to be included in the portfolio the manager shall seek to achieve an investment medium for investors, which shall have as its primary objective exposure to long term fixed interest securities for the purpose of capital growth and income generation. To achieve the investment objective, the securities normally to be included in the portfolio will consist of a spread of gilts, semi gilts, loan stock, debentures, debenture bonds, non-equity securities, notes and assets in liquid form and any other securities, which are consistent with the portfolio’s investment policy.

Biography | Victor holds a BCom (Hons) in Econometrics. He started his career in 1996 at Standard Bank Treasury as a trainee foreign currency dealer, and then moved to Nedbank Investment Bank as a bond market dealer, giving him good preparation for his move to STANLIB (then LIBAM). At STANLIB, he has been part of the Fixed Interest division starting as a bond dealer and then assuming added responsibility on fixed income Portfolio Management. Victor was appointed as Head: Bond and Income Funds with effect 1 March 2008, assuming full responsibility for management of the funds. | ||
