The Sanlam Multi Managed Property Fund will invest in liquid assets and in listed property shares, including companies that derive a material portion of their income from property investment, collective investment schemes in property and property loan stock, as well as financial instruments (derivatives) as allowed by the Act in order to achieve the investment objective. The portfolio will be managed on a multi manager basis and Sanlam Multi Manager International will appoint the “best of breed” manager(s) to manage the portfolio. The portfolio may invest in participatory interests of collective investment schemes registered in South Africa or other similar schemes operated in territories with a regulatory environment which is to the satisfaction of the manager and the trustee of a sufficient standard to provide for investor protection which is at least equivalent to that in South Africa. The Manager will be permitted to invest in offshore investments as legislation permits
