Investment Strategy

The family life cycle funds Valmex, called "Valmex Life Project", are an alternative investment to allocate resources for retirement, or any other project of medium or long term, for each of the portfolios establishing a "benchmark" or reference portfolio which seeks to preserve, to the horizon of the fund, capital in real terms, ie inflation-adjusted weights as IDUs (investment units). In turn, the investment objective of each of the funds is to outperform the benchmark portfolio. Comparatively, an investment in an instrument indexed to inflation (no credit risk) with maturity equal to the investment horizon, just to minimize the risk subject to known performance in real terms, while funds Valmex life project, maximize performance subject to minimize the risk to the horizon.
