Investment Strategy

The Fund’s objective is to provide above average, long-term total returns consisting of interest income and some capital gains by investing primarily in fixed income securities. The Fund’s portfolio will, under normal circumstances, be invested primarily in fixed income securities, including those of foreign issuers. It also may invest in debt securities convertible into common stock, and fixed income securities of governments, government agencies, supranational agencies, companies, trusts and limited partnerships. The Fund seeks to provide income while seeking greater safety of principal than offered by equities by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities.

Biography	John graduated from the Royal Military College with a Bachelor of Arts (Commerce) and served as an Air Force navigator. Biography	Vivek attended the University of New Delhi, graduating with a Masters in Economics in 1994. He then completed the MBA program at University of Manchester in 1997. Vivek then worked as a Senior Analyst, Credit Rating at ICRA, Moody's Indian affiliate for three years. He then moved to HCL Technologies as Manager of Investor Relations for two years. Vivek was awarded his CFA charter in 2004. He joined Canso in 2002 where he is a credit analyst and portfolio manager.
