Investment Strategy

The Sub-Fund essentially invests (minimum 2/3 of the Sub-Fund’s net assets) in a diversified portfolio of equities or other Transferable Securities (warrants on Transferable Securities – up to a maximum of 10% of the Sub-Fund’s net assets – and convertible bonds) or both, issued by companies established, listed or traded in any emerging or developing country in Latin America (including the Caribbean), Asia (excluding Japan), Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa and offering an attractive dividend yield. The dividend yield (dividend as a percentage of the share price) of the portfolio is targeted to be superior to the Index. The portfolio is diversified across countries and business sectors.
