Investment Strategy

The investment seeks high current income with a secondary objective of capital growth. The fund will invest substantially all of its assets in income producing securities (including below investment grade securities, or "junk bonds") with a focus on U.S. corporate bonds, convertible securities, foreign debt instruments, including those in emerging markets and related foreign currency transactions, and U.S. government securities. The fund is not limited in the percentage of its assets that it may invest in these instruments.

Biography	Elaine M. Stokes joined Loomis Sayles in 1988 and is a Director, Portfolio Manager and Co‑Head of the full discretion team. She has 33 years of investment industry experience. She is also a Co‑Portfolio Manager of the Loomis Sayles Strategic Alpha Fund and other fixed income funds managed by Loomis Sayles. Prior to becoming a Portfolio Manager in 2000, she had experience working in high yield, global and emerging markets. She has served as a senior fixed income trader and portfolio specialist. She earned a BS from St. Michael’s College.

Biography	Dan Fuss has 65 years of experience in the investment industry and has been with Loomis, Sayles & Company since 1976. He is vice chairman of the firm’s Board of Directors and a senior advisor to the full discretion team. In 2019, Dan was awarded the Outstanding Portfolio Manager Award at the US Morningstar Awards for Investing Excellence. In 2012, he received both the Institutional Investor Money Management Lifetime Achievement Award and the Lipper Excellence in Investing Award. In 2013, Dan received the CFA Society of Milwaukee Lifetime Achievement Award.

Biography	Ms. Gaffney has been at Eaton Vance and BMR since October 2012. Prior to joining Eaton Vance in 2012, she was a vice president and portfolio manager at Loomis, Sayles & Company. Ms. Gaffney began her career at Loomis Sayles in 1984. From 1992 to 2012, she served as Vice President and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. From 1988 - 1992 she held served as Vice President and Fixed Income Trader. From 1984 to 1988 she served as a Fixed Income and Equity Trader. Ms. Gaffney holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst. She received a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and has been with the investment industry since 1984.
