Investment Strategy

The investment seeks high total return with a shift to current income and some capital appreciation over time as the fund approaches and passes the target retirement date. The fund is generally intended for investors who plan to retire around the year 2045 and then withdraw their investment in it throughout retirement. It is designed to provide exposure to equity, debt and cash/cash equivalent asset classes by investing in mutual funds and ETFs within the same group of investment companies, passive ETFs that are managed by unaffiliated investment advisers in certain limited instances and/or direct investments in securities and other financial instruments.

Biography Ove Fladberg, managing director, is head of the Columbus, OH-based Multi-Asset Solutions investment team, and serves as its Chief Investment Officer within Multi-Asset Solutions, with overall responsibility for the JPMorgan Investor Funds as well as other multi-asset strategies and market-cap weighted equity investment strategies. Biography Silvia Trillo, managing director, is a portfolio manager on the SmartRetirement and SmartSpending port-folios in Multi-Asset Solutions. She was previously the head of the Multi-Asset Solutions Manager Research team. In this role she managed the team, drove the research agenda and focused research and analysis efforts on a wide variety of strategies across J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Prior to joining Multi-Asset Solutions in 2011, Silvia was a Director of Manager Research for Chase Investment Services, where she oversaw the manager due diligence process across all advisory Chase Investment products, as well as the integrated post-merger, legacy Bank One, and Washington Mutual advisory platforms. Biography Anne Lester is a portfolio manager and Head of Retirement Solutions for J.P.
