Investment Strategy

The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve long-term capital growth. The Fund will mainly invest in common stocks of United States companies, some, but not all of which, pay dividends. The Sub-Investment Manager will employ a disciplined investment strategy by investing in companies of any size at what they determine are attractive prices for such.

Biography Mr. Stephen Yacktman is Chief Investment Officer, Partner, and Portfolio Manager at Yacktman Asset Management. He joined Yacktman Asset Management in 1993. He has been co-manager for AMG Yacktman Focused Fund and AMG Yacktman Fund since 2002 and AMG Yacktman Global Fund since inception. Between 1996 and 2005 he helped build 1-800 CONTACTS from a startup to the leading seller of contact lenses in the world. He was a member of the 1-800 CONTACTS board and served as chair of the audit and compensation committees. In 2006 he was named Co-Chief Investment Officer of Yacktman Asset Management. Stephen was a finalist for Morningstar’s Domestic-Stock Manager of the Year award in 2011. He graduated from Brigham Young University with an economics degree and MBA. Stephen is a member of the Management Committee of the firm.

Biography Mr. Yacktman is president of Yacktman Asset Management, a company he formed in March 1992. From 1983 to 1992, he managed Selected American Shares, for which he was named Morningstar's 1991 Portfolio Manager of the Year. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Stein Roe & Farnham from 1968 to 1982 and a partner at that firm from 1974 to 1982. He also has spent time at Continental Bank. Yacktman is a member of the Financial Analysts Society of Chicago.
