Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. Under normal market conditions, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in the stocks of small capitalization ("small cap") companies. The adviser defines small cap companies as those whose market capitalization, at the time of purchase, are consistent with the market capitalizations of companies in the Russell 2000® Index.

Biography Don Hodges began his investment career with Merrill Lynch in 1960. In 1974 he joined Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. now RBC Dain Rauscher Inc., where he rose through the ranks as broker, manager, and executive vice president, becoming president of Rauscher in 1983. In 1981, Registered Rep magazine named Don one of the top 20 brokers in the USA. And in 1989, Don and his son, Craig Hodges, founded First Dallas Holdings, the parent company of both First Dallas Securities and Hodges Capital Management. Don W. Hodges has been a portfolio manager with the Hodges Capital Management, Inc. since 1990, and currently serves as Chairman of the Advisor’s Investment Committee. Don is active in the community and his church, and serves on several boards throughout the state, including Presbyterian Village Foundation, W.A. Criswell Foundation, West Texas A&M University Foundation and First Dallas Holdings.
