Investment Strategy

The investment seeks to maximize total return. To pursue its goal, the fund normally invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in the securities of emerging market issuers and other investments that are tied economically to emerging market countries. It normally allocates its investments among emerging market equities, bonds and currencies. The portfolio construction process starts with the fund's portfolio managers assessing the risk and return expectations of equities, bonds and currencies for each emerging market country over a 12-month period. The fund is non-diversified.
