Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund is a "fund of funds" that seeks to achieve its investment objective by primarily allocating its assets among underlying Calvert income and equity funds meeting its investment criteria, including the responsible investing criteria. It typically invests 80%-100% of its net assets in funds that invest primarily in equity securities and up to 20% of its net assets in funds that invest primarily in income securities. The fund may also invest 0% to 10% of net assets in cash and short-term money market instruments.

He also works on fundamental security analysis and is a member of Calvert’s Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to joining Calvert he spent two years as a finance and operations associate at the D.E. Shaw Group. More recently, Mr. Linder worked at the U.S.- Korea Institute conducting statistical analysis for several economic studies and as a summer associate at Deloitte Consulting. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in industrial and labor relations and received a master’s in public policy from American University with a concentration in advanced quantitative research methods. Biography Natalie Trunow is senior vice president and chief investment officer, equities, for Calvert Investment Management, Inc. Ms. Trunow is responsible for managing, proactively evaluating, and monitoring Calvert's sub-advised equity, balanced, sector, and asset allocation Funds. She also leads the firm’s in-house equity management, ESG integration, GTAA strategies, and new product development and implementation. Ms. Trunow has worked in global financial markets since 1985. Prior to joining Calvert Investment Management, Inc. in 2008, she was a section head and a portfolio manager in the global markets group at General Motors Asset Management in New York. In this role since 1997, she developed and managed successful in-house investment strategies in global alternatives, domestic large- and small-cap as well as alpha-generating, style-balanced funds of funds of institutional money managers. Earlier in her career, Ms. Trunow consulted with Price Waterhouse and the law firm of Owen & Davis in New York. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. in economics from NYU and holds an M.B.A. in finance from the NYU Stern School of Business. Throughout her carrier, Ms. Trunow has been involved in various volunteering and community activities including New York School Volunteer Program, Junior Achievement, and Calvert Community Partners. She serves on the advisory boards of Institutional Investor Forum, Claflin University, and Health Services for Children with Special Needs Foundation Investment Committee.
