Investment Strategy

The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation, and income is a secondary objective. The fund invests in at least 80% of its net assets in securities of large-cap companies the portfolio manager regards as undervalued. The advisor defines a large-cap company as having a market cap that is either (i) larger than the current median market cap of companies in the Russell 1000® Value Index or (ii) larger than the three years average median market cap of companies in the index based on the previous three December 31 dates. The fund may also purchase stocks of smaller companies.

Rowe Price Group, Inc. Mr. Finn has 14 years of investment experience, all of which have been with T. Rowe Price. From 2005 to 2009, Mr. Finn was an equity research analyst specializing in electric power generation, utilities, and coal. Prior to this, he was an analyst in T.
