Investment Strategy

The Fund’s investment strategy primarily focusses on delivering an income yield to investors, at a rate determined at the start of each financial year. The investment strategy also aims to generate capital growth over the medium to long term to mitigate the effects of inflation. The Fund may invest in income generating strategies across a range of asset classes including Australian equities, international equities, property securities, fixed income, sub investment grade credit, alternatives, cash and short maturity income.

Biography Raf Choudhury is an Investment Director - Multi-Asset Investment Solutions where he is responsible for the development and management of multi-asset portfolios for the Australian market. Raf joined the company in May 2022 from State Street Global Advisors where he held multiple roles, most recently as Head of Investment Strategy & Research - Australia. In this role, Raf was in charge of producing and delivering bespoke client research as well as engaging with clients across a number of investment related topics. Biography David Zhou is an Investment Manager of the Multi-Asset & Investment Solutions Asia Pacific team, where he is actively involved in contributing to portfolio strategy decisions and portfolio management activities for the regional team. David plays a key role in focusing on the delivery of research in Japan and a number of South East Asian countries, and also assists with managing the research agenda and related workflow of the regional team. David joined the company in 2015, as a Graduate Business Analyst, shortly after he graduated with an MSc in Finance from the Imperial College London. In this capacity, he gained valuable exposures working as part of different investment teams within the firm in both traditional and alternative space for two years. David completed his undergraduate studies at the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore (NTU) with a double degree in Economics (1st Class Honours, Dean’s List in 2012/2013) and Aerospace Engineering (Second Class Upper). Prior to joining the company, David had internship experience at Deutsche bank, Platinum Securities Company Ltd and Pratt & Whitney. David is based in Singapore.
