iShares U.S. ETF Trust - iShares Short Duration Bond Active ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock, Inc. The fund is managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors. It invests in fixed income markets of global region. The fund primarily invests in U.S. dollar-denominated, investment grade, fixed-rate and floating-rate securities such as corporate and government bonds, agency securities, instruments of non-U.S. issuers, privately issued securities, asset-backed and mortgage-backed securities, structured securities, municipal bonds, money market instruments and investment companies that are rated BBB- or higher by S&P and/or by Fitch or Baa3 or higher by Moody’s. It invests in securities with maturities of less than three years. It employs fundamental analysis with bottom-up and top-down security picking approach to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg U.S. 1-3 Year Government/Credit Bond Index. iShares U.S. ETF Trust - iShares Short Duration Bond Active ETF was formed on September 25, 2013 and is domiciled in the United States.
