It is managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the public equity markets of developed countries in Asia. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the real estate sector, which include real estate investment trusts (REITS) and real estate holding & development companies. The fund invests in the dividend-paying stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Developed Asia Dividend+ Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares FTSE EPRA/NAREIT Asia Property Yield Fund. iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Asia Property Yield UCITS ETF was formed on October 20, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
