I bought this on Nov 04, 2022 (Made a comment on this page, multiple actually very slow forum) for 38. Today I am starting a slow sell of about 10% per day for the next 2 weeks, one batch done at 630. Will maintain 20% of the current position, the other 80% which will be sold are on the higher end of the 7 digits range (which is why I sell slowly), selling to move into stable ETFs like QQQ and SPY as well as closing out my mortgage, FNGU profits allowed me to retire (I am still under 40, I guess it's at least a few years of vacation and I'll see if I ever want to work again but I don't believe I will need to), I think FNGU can go up way more (which is why the last 20% will remain here) but I don't need more. Best of luck to you all. And don't let people tell you LETFs are for short periods only, they aren't - you just need to be able to tolerate being down dozens of precents which most people can't tolerate, no pain no gain.

as no specialist, it looks to me that investing to fngu, is the same to invest / follow the s&p and nasdaq together . the only negative about fngu is the high cost, no dividend and the big fluctuations. the only reason to buy the real stocks is to have the money and the time / ability to analyze the market and your investments. if not, invest to fngu and wait it's only matter of time to go to 300 $. just wait especially if you are young. the easy way to be rich......

...but bear in mind that ETNs use options in order to magnify the losses/gains of the stock/index - the "time decay" factor generally (obviously, not always) results in the ETN moving to the downside over time. These instruments are not intended as long-term investments, but rather a way to capitalise on (or hedge against) short-term trends.

Yes you are right but also wrong (actually it's mostly just nasdaq), if you just want to follow you can put your money in spy + qqq and you won't even need to worry about volatility.However, fngu is a 3x ETN, so when we go up, you go up much faster than qqq or spy, when we go down that's another story and a pretty bad one, for example we just had a 2 years bear market, nasdaq got to under 10 percent from the peak while fngu was still 1/3 of its peak price - this is what you need to be worried about, recovery isn't fast.However it's also true that if we look at fngu from the day it was made, the returns are absurd and that's despite being crushed on 2018, 2020 and again on 2021 and 2022, if we ever go back to a bull market that lasts years like the one we had starting 2010, nothing will matter and this will be the best investment, however if we are going to go sideways some years here, going up and down like crazy - that's where you want to be worried.I still like it, I am still in it to win it, but if you are close to retirement or may need the money within a few years - this isn't the place for you, at least not with an all in.

If you are trading since a while you saw this ETN at 60 a couple of times aswell…. This asset is to be purchased when the market expect a rally, not to be hold for years.
