Market 100% ignoring FED; that’s all wright but just be a bit carefull because FED could implement a “the party is over” type of move as commodity prices are rising and US financial conditions are notably softening while US inflation is still high at 6.5 - 5.7%.

fed is still raising rates. This is a short-term on heist on fundamental gamblers-but it doesn't mean it isn't legitimate. Should see the buck return to test a high in time before I see strong evidence of 85 range in 2024

usa will bankrupt itself morally/financially but right now it is in charge. no revolution within it is able to gather enough "like minds" its like a million splinter cells of idolizing zealotry all competing for some sort of prominence. morally it is dying. If you want an American City- Go ahead and take it. we want them to collapse. the rot within our governments at all levels is undeniable. We welcome this new blood-thirst and violence. it isn't racial. only woke ideologues who have never walked in West Oakland or Mississippi can tell you we have become what we feared most. The least worthy or educated n-e-o fascists on Earth only using the language of democracy and freedom to crush our people in a class warfare that we very much have already lost.

Lucky Lucky Why man .. fed did the job and maintain dollar average range even still high than normal compare to usual.. inflation lower ... dollar cant be bullish full year .. it was 7 months just going up and up .. and 2 months and half down .. normal average for dx is 89 to 99 .. fed increased rates 7 times last year and mostly was higher than ECB and BOE .. BOJ .. stock been down long term .. metals and Currencies reached lowest in 20 and 30 year .. what you want more ? .. no option should ease rates and calm down or world eco crash .. not everything go to your trade favor :))

I think DXY will stay between 101.4 and 101.9, maybe some 102.3 highs now and then. the next 2 weeks. If the FED decides 25 bps hike the 1st of February, it will keep those figures for at least all of February, If they go higher (50bps), the dollar might go up to 103-104.5 again for a few weeks.
We have to see what he BoJ does next week, if they increase their interest rate, DXY will probably go down to 100.5-101.7 until the FED announcement.

However world situation is not good enough for DXY to go lower than 100 in the short term. Probably by end of the year we can see it below 100... This is why:
All of this IF China situation with protests and deaths do no affect March re-openings...
Also hoping it's not a new strain that will make us repeat 2020 yet again.
Recession risks in a lot of countries. Inflation is not controlled everywhere yet (Japan and England for example) Good thing US is getting there faster than expected, makes the rest control it faster too, we need a low dollar to lower our inflation also, we can't wait any longer or thing will be bad, even for US.
I know if the rest of the world can't control it's inflation because of the high DXY, USA will also be in trouble in the long run. After all we all need each other. USA can't think only about them selves.
That is why I think it will only be 25 bps or the last 50 bps and they will not go as high as they claim in the long run.
