The sheltering Jap yen could strengthen with dollar fall. Specially with usd/jpy sliding next week. Stocks not looking so strong in this scenario.

Next pop should be faded hard. No way money stay is dollars with stocks and bonds so high and potential debasement/taxation on the near horizon. Eem calls if stocks remain in a bubble short term

Yes, I also endorse that technical analysis and common sense always is on second place in comparison with anonymous forum characters views of strongly against trend calls. Especially when the calls clearly are not objective and are based in to that characters personal view and "feeling".

did you get back in positions? I know you said you took profit at 93 and you were going to reload later, but it only went up after that.

Possible but I think its equally likely that this pop was a huge head fake and it gets blasted into September. . There’s just no reason hold something the fed is intent on debasing . Its inevitable and market should know this

The FED's balance sheet has risen from 6.957 T to 7.010 T. The FED will continue it's purchasing spree to inflate the everything bubble but the consequence will be the dollar collapses.

Emily Jones  That's true in some ways but Japan has a trade surplus and holds alot of US debt. The US just has debt and reserve status. US Debt to GDP is  over 100% from Covid. DXY collapsing right now is unlikely but it can go lower in the the near term.

From what I can see, the professionals knew they hit their target (20ema) and started to bail before the days end. Could we have an intraday move above it next week ... sure. But I said for weeks now, expecting a closing price above it is financial suicide. Every has been expected so far and proving weakness. Love the looks so far ;)

159807679515617.jpg USD/GBP also break the long time support already. These currencies cover 92,2% of the basket against US$ in DX so it is quite obvious that it is not the strength of € which is driving this lower, neither it is Loonie or £... it is weakness of US$ which is seen across the board.
