I only know as much as the next trader but still expecting to break below support on the monthly 200ema sooner than later. 91.23 is where she is at now while stochastics on the monthly are oversold. Oversold doesn't mean buyers always buy. I'm expecting them to "embed" in the oversold area = sellers have taken control ;)

jibreel algeria  So "The Fed creates money" by "purchasing securities in the market using new money" which they "print"... This should be known by everyone by now that the "printing" does not necessarily include the actual process of putting real ink to a piece of paper. However if FED buys something from open market with money that they just seconds ago created from thin air, how would you describe that operation better than "printing" money?

Auno See that's where you are wrong though. They do not outright buy, it is collateral swap. That money sits in a reserve account at the FED. Cannot be spent or loaned out, only loaned against. FED does not control the money supply directly, only the interest rate. Banks control money supply through lending demand. Read the Federal reserve act to get a better idea of what they can and cant do.

If the FED could just print money to buy the treasuries then why have to through open market? why couldnt they just go straight to the treasury? The details are left vague for a reason. A document by the St.Louis Fed written in August of 2019 explains the process better.

Randy Widmark  Well fed still does purchase securities directly from instances including individuals by using freshly created money. Open market operations purpose is to inject money in to the system therefore it is called "expansion" of money supply. "The term “open market” refers to the fact that the Fed doesn’t buy securities directly from the U.S. Treasury. Instead, securities dealers compete on the open market based on price, submitting bids or offers to the Trading Desk of the New York Fed through an electronic auction system." There is nothing factually wrong on what I wrote.

hmm... If I would of not got educated about MACD in this very morning and heard of it's superiority of predicting the actual future over the simple lines I would say that it hit the resistance and is now pulling back to at least some extent. Gladly I know better now that it is moonshot super spiking all day today. Because MACD told us so. That it did not get past the old silly line does not matter because of the superior knowledge what two curved lines can provide.

It’s not a legit pattern auno. Not sure if you are saying that it is going to rip up or not but I don’t believe any of the oversold or overbought fall onto the trend lines. Onto 76 :)

Joe JUGGERNAUT Mart  I have told all the time that when it is below those simple lines there is no point to get excited about "trend reversals" if the freaking thing is still in the dominant trend... :P
