IMO, it could test 1.7 before deciding its next move. In the past two years, it has been ranging between 1.6 and 1.7. The past two breakouts above 1.7 didn’t last long, followed by massive selling. This is the third time, and we see a clear D1 candle close above it. If opening a sell position, the SL needs to be above 1.727 ± 30 to 50 pips. So in short, below 1.7 is quite a bumpy road, unless there is a stopper in the German debt brake reform.
