manipulation time over. Why did oil reach 58? Easy answer: manipulated stop loss hunt. Big boys loaded up on the way to 100. sigh....

PDVSA Revokes Authorization for Chevron to Export Venezuelan Oil Venezuelan state-owned oil firm PDVSA has revoked authorizations to U.S. supermajor Chevron to load and export crude from Venezuela this month, following the Trump Administration’s increased sanctions on Venezuelan oil exports and tariffs on its oil buyers, Reuters reports, quoting sources familiar with the matter. The Trump Administration has already revoked Chevron’s license to operate in Venezuela and export oil from its oilfields, with May 27 the deadline for Chevron to wind down its operations in the South American country. Storys Continues.

Saudi Arabia’s Next Move Could Hit Oil Prices Hard, OPEC+ is accelerating its oil output increases by adding 411,000 barrels per day in May. Saudi Arabia faces a budget strain, needing $96.20 oil to break even due to Vision 2030 spending. Saudi Arabia aims to capitalize on low U.S. tariffs to grow manufacturing and invest heavily in mining to boost non-oil revenue. Last week, eight OPEC+ countries unveiled plans to advance their planned phase-out of voluntary oil output cuts by ramping up output by 411,000 barrels per day in May--equivalent to three monthly increments. The announcement of the accelerated unwinding clip comes at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump announced tariffs on trading partners, deepening the shock to oil markets.  Brent crude for June delivery was up 0.1% to trade at $63.32 per barrel at 9.45 am ET on Friday while WTI crude was flat at $60.12 per barrel. Storys Continues.

well maybe next week we see the effects of on going trade war bethween China and US. US prices will rise and China production slows down (less oil demand). Less products are delivered as inflation kicks in US. China will buy Iranian oil, Trump cannot do anything about it as he started already trade war.

It is not so bad with a lower oil price and if China consuming less can be good for the environment. Of course for oil companies it means more slimming.
