Price, Economic Event and Author Alerts

We’re pleased to announce that our most requested feature, our Alert System, is now LIVE.

The Alert System allows you to receive personalized alerts for any financial instrument, economic event, and newly published article by favorite authors of your choosing.

Now, you can create customized alerts to track in real-time the prices and percent-change of indices, stocks, bonds, commodities and currencies. As long as you are logged in to the site or the app, you’ll be able to receive all the updates in real time on your desktop screen as well as push notifications on your smartphone.

How it Works:

To get a price alert for any instrument or an Economic Calendar event, go to the instrument’s or event’s page, and click the orange “Create Alert” button.

To receive Author alerts, go to any Opinion & Analysis article, and under the author’s name click “Follow”.

Don’t monopolize the conversation. We appreciate passion and conviction, but we also strongly believe in giving everyone a chance to air their point of view. Therefore, in addition to civil interaction, we expect commenters to offer their opinions succinctly and thoughtfully, but not so repeatedly that others are annoyed or offended. If we receive complaints about individuals who take over a thread or forum, we reserve the right to ban them from the site, without recourse.

I have set alerts for certain events to notify through laptop desktop and all this worked well. however, no new notifications appear after the laptop is automatically updated. I cannot even find https://investing.com listed in the computer setting that allows me to turn it on for notification. I guess it must be the problem of the laptop but have no idea about how to make it work. any suggestions. Thanks.
