1. Ballard Power Systems
Ballad Power Systems (NASDAQ:BLDP) looks great and it has been gapping. On Monday, it gapped substantially on contract news, and closed up 2.57, or 14.8%, to 19.93, only 8 cents off the multi-year and session high of 20.01, on a solid 8.1 million shares traded. In after-hours it ran another 36 cents. Now, it is at the highest level in 19 years. A strong move is underway, to me, last into the low-to-mid 30’s.
2. Niu Technologies
Niu Technologies (NASDAQ:NIU) also gapped and ran on Monday. It jumped 3.86, or 21%, to 22.11, a new post-IPO, with an all-time and session high of 22.59, on 2.86 million shares traded. The target, at this point, is in the high 20’s.
3. Overstock.com
Overstock.com (NASDAQ:OSTK) popped 5.73, or 17%, to 39.16, with a multi-week and session high nearly tagging 40 at 39.93, on 6.5 million shares traded, and up another 1.28 in after-hours. It has gone from the March low at 2.53 to Monday’s high at 39.93, which is an incredible move up. Lateral-price resistance is coming in at the 44-45 zone. That’s the next target for OSTK.
4. Electrameccanica Vehicles
Electrameccanica Vehicles (NASDAQ:SOLO) on Monday exploded 2.02, or 64 1/2%, to 5.15, with a multi-week and session high at 6.00, on 173 million shares traded and closed near the upper end of the range. That’s the biggest volume ever traded on that stock. There is some resistance up here. My next target zone is at about the 6 3/4-7 1/2.
5. UP Fintech Holding Limited
Up Fintech Holding (NASDAQ:TIGR) broke out of a long base, with a big breakaway gap, popping 1.36, or 33%, to 5.50, on 11.5 million shares traded, and another 20 cents in after-hours. At this range, it’s above the resistance zone, but below there, a test short term, and it might make a run to the 6.00 level.
6. Xilinx
Xilinix (NASDAQ:XLNX), in the semiconductor sector, is a nice upgrade in a stock that ran again, closing at 102.10, up 6.81, or 7%, with a session high of 102.29, on 5.4 million shares traded and up another 1.10 in after-hours. My target was 102-3, so it reached that level by the end of the day, and it’s at resistance. If it gets through here, it could make a run to 110, even 120.
