Investment Strategy
The Fund will be a domestic general equity fund. The primary objective of the fund is to provide consistent long-term capital growth for its investors. The fund focusses on companies with above average growth potential. The Manager will invest in a diversified selection of predominantly local, and as permitted by the Registrar from time to time, in international equities, across all economic groups and industry sectors as well as across a range of large, mid and smaller cap shares. The portfolio may also include participatory interests or any other form of participation in portfolios of collective investment schemes or other similar schemes.

| Biography | Sidney has more than 23 years experience in the commercial and financial services industry. After seven years as an IT specialist at Southern Life, he moved into the Asset Management industry functioning mainly as a quantitative analyst across both equity and fixed interest markets. He worked as a fixed interest specialist and portfolio manager at Nedcor Investment Bank and Abvest Associates before joining Trident Capital. Here his duties included specialist fixed interest portfolio management and the development and management of Real Return and Targeted Return products. Sidney joined Lion of Africa in 2010 as a senior portfolio manager where he was responsible for setting up the functionality of the asset manager within the group. Sidney was appointed Head of Asset Management at Warwick in April 2014, assuming responsibility for the management of all related products. Sidney holds a B.Sc degree from The University of Cape Town, Diplomas in IS Project Management, Financial Management, and has completed modules in the Capital Markets (Securities Institute-London). He has also completed the first level of the CFA examinations. | ||
