To provide shareholders with investment growth in the medium to long term. The fund mainly invests in bonds and credit default swaps from the financial sector in Europe. Specifically, the fund invests at least two thirds of total assets in debt securities and credit default swaps that are issued by financial institutions (or their parent company) that are domiciled, or conduct the majority of their business, in Europe.

Biography | Andreas has served as the secondary portfolio manager of the Nordea 1 – European Financial Debt Fund since October 2016. Concurrently, he is also the Head of Financial Analysis which consists of 5 dedicated research analysts (including himself) focused on the Financials sector; a responsibility which he has embraced since October 2020, following his tenure as co-head beginning of 2019. Andreas joined the Financials team of the Credit Team as an analyst in July 2014, having been a member of the Credit Team since 2012. Throughout his various roles across the past 12 years, Andreas has become a key stakeholder and integral contributor to all aspects of the investment process of the Nordea 1 – European Financial Debt Fund. | ||

Prior to joining Nordea Investment Management AB, Mr Topp worked as Head of Credit Research at Nordea Markets and before that as a Special Consultant at the Monetary Policy Department of the Danish National Bank. Mr Topp started his career with the Budget Department of the Danish Ministry of Finance. Mr Topp holds an MSc in Economics from University of Copenhagen. |
