Investment Strategy

To achieve, over a medium-term horizon (2 to 3 years), a return in excess of its cash benchmark from a portfolio of securities, globally, using derivatives where appropriate. The Sub-Fund seeks to have a volatility lower than two-thirds of the MSCI All Country World Index (Total Return Net). Uses an investment process based on macroeconomic research to identify global investment themes and opportunities. Flexible and focused approach to take advantage of global trends and changes through traditional and non-traditional assets. Fully integrated, risk management framework provides detailed portfolio analysis.

Jimmy has 24 years of experience in global equities, long/short equity hedge funds and multi-asset investing, which gives him a broad perspective on both security selection and asset allocation as elements of generating sustainable investment returns. He joined the firm from JP Morgan (JPM) Asset Management where he was International Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for their Multi-asset Solutions business with over US$90 billion in client assets. Prior to this he was co-CIO of the European Behavioural Finance and CIO of the Japanese Equity teams at JP Morgan. Biography Talib Sheikh joined Jupiter in June 2018 and is Head of Strategy, Multi-Asset. He manages the Jupiter Flexible Income fund (SICAV) and the Jupiter Flexible Macro fund (SICAV). Before joining Jupiter, Talib was managing director and portfolio manager at JP Morgan Asset Management where he worked for nearly 20 years. He was instrumental in the formation and growth of the Multi-Asset Solutions team since its inception in 2004. Over this time, Talib has managed a number of products including multi-asset income, target return and flexible balanced funds plus diversified institutional accounts. Talib has an MSc in International Agricultural Marketing from Newcastle University and is a CFA® charterholder.

Biography Neill Nuttall is a managing director and the chief investment officer of the Multi-Asset Solutions Group (MAS) in Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). He also serves as chairman of the MAS Investment Committee. Neill joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in GSAM in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Neill worked for almost 30 years at JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) and its heritage firms, based for 14 years in Hong Kong and subsequently in London. From 2006, Neill served as chief investment officer and head of JPMAM’s Global Multi Asset Group (GMAG) and latterly as head of Asset Allocation for GMAG. Prior to joining GMAG, Neill served as a managing director and senior strategist within JPMAM’s Currency Group. Previous roles included senior investing positions at Jardine Fleming Investment Management in the International Multi-Asset Portfolios Group. Prior to joining JPMAM, Neill worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong and Thailand. Neill earned a BA (Hons) in politics from the University of Exeter.
