The Fund aims to achieve a combination of a steady flow of income and the potential for capital gains. It invests primarily in a mix of U.S. income-producing securities. Income-producing securities may include, but are not limited to, common and preferred shares, investment grade fixed income securities, higher yielding, lower quality fixed income securities, U.S. dollar-denominated foreign fixed income securities, real estate investment trusts (“REITs”) and other real estate related securities, convertible securities, emerging market debt securities and floating rate debt instruments.
