The fund is invested in fixed income securities denominated in Norwegian kroner. The duration of the fund will be in the range of 0-6 months, and the fund's weighted average maturity will be less than 1 year. The fund may only invest in securities with a minimum rating of BBB minus ("investment grade"). Up to 25% of the fund can be invested in securities with floating rate notes by the remaining maturity of one to three years. The Fund shall at all times be invested in assets with risk weight maximum of 20 per cent, cf. Regulations on capital adequacy of financial institutions. The fund has very low risk profile. Money markets funds will be exposed to credit risk. That is the risk that the issuer will not be able to meet its obligations when the bond matures. The Fund is classified as a money market fund with low risk of the Mutual Fund Association (VFF).
