The fund invests in fixed income securities issued by corporations and financial institutions primarily denominated in USD or EUR. Issuers will have a minimum investment grade rating. The goal of management is to spread investments against the global credit markets and generate investment strategies that provide better returns than the benchmark index. The fund has a good spread between the companies and sectors, and measured against a credit index that is market value weighted 50 percent U.S. corp 500 and 50 percent EURO Corp. The fund invests at least 90 percent of the fund's value in securities with a minimum credit quality of BBB minus ("investment grade"). The fund's duration will be 5 to 6 years. The fund's investments are hedged in Norwegian kroner. The fund shall have an appropriate spread of risk of loss and take into account the recognized ethical guidelines.
