The investment objection of the fund is to achieve maximum capital growth on a year-to-year basis over the long term, with the generation of income being of a secondary nature. It will invest in a broad range of participatory interests or any other form of participation in portfolios of collective investment schemes or other similar schemes covering a broad range of investment philosophies in order to achieve a portfolio that reflects the investment objectives of the portfolio. Biography | Pieter joined the industry in 1965 (coincidentally in the same year that the Unit Trust industry began in South Africa) and has a wealth of financial planning and investment management experience. He and his associates have provided financial advice to generations of families, and he is a well-known and respected businessman From the early eighties, Pieter began to effectively narrow his focus to wealth creation. In 1998 he acquired his Category II Asset Management licence and launched his own Unit Trust Fund, Appleton Prudential Fund of Funds, to cater for the investment needs of his clients.
