Investment Strategy
The Fund is a balanced prudential fund. The investment objective of the Grindrod Endurance Fund is to seek to secure a balance between growth and income at moderate to conservative risk levels. The Grindrod Endurance Fund will predominantly invest in a range of equities, bonds, money market instruments, fixed interest securities or property. The portfolio's exposure to equities will tend to vary between 0% and 40%, depending on market and economic conditions and relative sector prospects.

| Biography | an Anderson is the agency MBS strategist for the mortgage and structured finance team at Loomis, Sayles & Company where he is responsible for developing agency MBS research and relative value recommendations across all fixed income products. He is the lead portfolio manager for the dedicated agency MBS strategies and a co-agency MBS portfolio manager for the Loomis Sayles Core Plus Bond Fund. | Biography | Andrew joined Grindrod Asset Management in early 2013 and is currently a Portfolio Manager. Andrew has worked as a Product Development Analyst at Symmetry within the Old Mutual Group and then in the offshore hedge fund division at Maitland. Prior to joining Grindrod Asset Management, Andrew worked at Insinger de Beaufort BNP Paribas, a boutique asset manager and family wealth office. The company’s head office is in Amsterdam and the parent company BNP Paribas is based in Paris. As a member of the investment committee Andrew was responsible for global fund research, analysing all investment products including the more exotic asset classes of hedge funds and structured products. He was also responsible for much of the reporting and analysis of client portfolios including attribution reports and compliance with GIPS reporting standards.
