The sub fund provides shareholders with the highest possible appreciation of capital invested while offering a broad distribution of risks. The sub-fund preferably invests in transferable securities that are denominated in Euros. The sub-fund may invest its assets in equities, bonds and other financial instruments such as Treasury certificates and certificates of deposit. The management style will be defensive, i.e. the equities portion of the portfolio will always be smaller than the fixed-income portion. The average term of the fixed-income portion of the portfolio may not exceed ten years. The sub-fund may also invest, on an ancillary basis, in transferable securities not denominated in Euros, provided that these positions do not exceed 20% of the total assets.
